Information before the procedure

You are entitled to a clear explanation of the diagnosis, the planned procedure, the alternatives and the risks – early enough to decide without pressure. We always leave at least one day between that conversation and the procedure.

Consent and withdrawal

No treatment without your consent. You may withdraw it at any time, including after planning has started, without giving a reason.

Written estimate

Above CHF 500 you receive a written estimate, itemised by position, before treatment starts. If it turns out to cost more, we stop and talk to you first.

Access to your records

You may view your medical history, images and findings at any time and request copies. We also release your records to a practice continuing your treatment.

Second opinion

A second opinion is your right, not a sign of distrust. We will assemble everything you need for it. Conversely, we review treatment plans from elsewhere for CHF 120 – whether or not you then choose us.
